• A feeling of appreciative, often deferential regard; esteem.
  • The state of being regarded with honor or esteem.
  • Willingness to show consideration or appreciation.
  • That is how every human being wants to be treated.

A friend once told me that a man proves a woman worth by the size of the diamond he puts on her finger.  Bull shit!  I have known women who have gotten huge diamonds, bouquet of roses, fine cars and homes and still get made a fool of when everyone knows he is sleeping around but her.   It’s all about love, respect and communication.   I am one of the lucky that has a man that gives me all three.   And the communication part… it’s not by e-mail, text or IM.  That is the cowards way. When there is a problem we are brave enough to look each other in the eye and speak face to face.

I have had several people around me lately that have been disrespected by someone they care for.  A husband who has been cheated on,  a young pregnant woman  who is emotionally abused by the father, a child that tells me she wishes I was her mother because her mom told her she was a mistake.  It has become really hard to like people any more.

To the husband that has been cheated on… get your children, love them, respect them, talk to them and get on with your life.  To the young mother-to-be….you know what the right thing to do is.  Push the fear aside, pull your self out of the self-pity hole, and get the hell out. You can have all the control in this situation. You know what you have to do.  To the mother of the child that feels no love from you…. I would just like to introduce you to my size 8!  But I’m not a violent person.

I am no professional this is just  giving advice to close friends, except for the size 8 thing.  Wish I wore as size 11.

    1. Without problems in life I don’t think you grow as a person. I love my life now. I live and enjoy it everyday. I’m glad for the past it helps me appreciate my life now.

    2. You are so precious and brave…you tell it like it is and that is a special quality to have. You must be a very trustworthy person for your friends to tell you their problems as they do. Right on for your honesty and for telling it like it is!
